Kreena Kapoor’s nick name is Bebo, which often used to describe her. She was born on 21st/Sep/1980 in Mumbai another member of Kapoor film family. Kapoor is the younger daughter of actors Babita and Randhir Kapoor; her elder sister Karishma Kapoor, is also an actress. She is the granddaughter of a famous actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, great-granddaughter of actor Prithviraj Kapoor, niece of actor Rishi Kapoor and cousin of Ranbeer Kapoor. She is soon going to get married to Chota Nawaab i.e. Saif Ali Khan most probably next year.
During her career, Kreena has received six Filmfare Awards, among nine nominations, and has been noted for her performances in a range of film genres; these include her work from contemporary romantic dramas to comedies. She made acting debut from the film Refugee in the year-2000. Then she performed in movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham(2001), Chameli(2004), Dev(2004), Omkara(2006), Jab We Met(2007), Kurbaan(2009), 3 idiots(2009).
She had strong aspirations to become an actress from her child, and was particularly inspired by watching Bollywood actresses Nargis and Meena Kumari. She often describes herself as a "very naughty and] spoilt child", used to dress up in her mother''s clothes and perform in front of the mirror. Despite her family background, her father disapproved of women entering the acting profession as he believed it conflicted with the maternal duties and responsibility of women in the family. This led to a conflict between her parents and her mother left the house with her daughters.
After that she was raised in Lokhandwala by her mother, who worked several jobs to support her daughters until Karishma debuted as an actress in 1991. Kreena Kapoor attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai before moving toWelham Girls Boarding School in Dehradun. After graduation she studied commerce for two years at Mithibai College in Vile Parle. She then registered for a three-month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard University in the United States. Later she developed an interest in law and enrolled at the Government Law College in Churchegate; she became immersed in law books and developed a long-lasting passion for reading during this period. But, after completing one year at Churchgate, she realized that she was not meant for academics and returned to her first plan i.e. to become an actress. She began training at an acting institute in Andheri, mentored by Kishore Namit Kapoor.
